    K-5th Grade

    Elementary art scholars explore the art-making process through a variety of media, including paint, crayon, colored pencil, clay, and yarn. Scholars use these media to explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and fiber arts as their fine motor skills develop throughout the school year. Grade-level art appreciation and art history are incorporated into the course. Scholars are encouraged to bring their imagination and creativity into every project.

    6th Grade Art Studio

    Sixth grade is a hands-on multimedia course that reviews the elements and principles of art and design and incorporates problem-solving and art history. Scholars develop observational and technical skills in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and various other art media.  They also develop respect and appreciation for the artwork of artists, including classmates’ art
